RVT
I was born in BC but raised in Calgary. After graduating high school and pursuing some psychology courses at Mount Royal College, I decided to move back to BC and got involved with the hospitality industry for nearly 20 years. During my time in BC, I had volunteered with the O.W.L. Society and W.R.A. of BC. I knew a change was coming, and after a heart to heart conversation with my soul sister, it was time to chase my dreams of becoming a nurse to animals. I moved back to Alberta and completed the VMR course with Distinction at Olds College, which catapulted me into the AHT program, where I graduated with Honors and passed the national exam to become a Registered Veterinarian Technologist.
In my spare time you could find me volunteering with the Canadian Animal Task Force or involved with Parachute for Pets. I also love going out to the Foothills to visit with my family on their acreage where they have chickens, dogs, cats, and a bunny. Being in nature, amongst the wildlife, trees, and fresh air is where I find my peace. I don’t feel like I work a day in my life because I absolutely love what I do! I know your furry family members are important to you and when you bring them in to see us, they are treated as if they were our very own loved ones. Thank you for your time and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s) the next time you come in!
